A Gift From The Heart

A gift from the heart is a wonderful way of helping the animal residents at Freedom Hill Sanctuary.

Freedom Hill Sanctuary is a self-funded sanctuary, without any government funding we rely on people like you to help us continue with the work of rescue, rehabilitation and offering a loving home for farmed animals.

If you would like to send a gift from the heart to a loved one simply choose your gift and fill in the persons name and details of the event.

A laminated certificate with the gift recipients name along with a detail of what your gift will provide for the animal resident will be posted.

What better way of showing your support and love to not only the animal residents at Freedom Hill Sanctuary but to your family and friends.

Thank you for helping the voiceless, the farm animals that are forgotten.

We will continue our work because of people like you. x

All gifts are tax deductible.

  • Fruit Donation

    $65

Each day our horses, turkey, chickens and pigs get fresh fruit. If you would like to be a part of our daily feed please consider donating to help with the huge food costs for these residents.
Our pig girls ~ Pearl, Audrey, Willow and Holly’s favourite fruit treats are watermelon, rockmelon, large amounts of apples and bananas.

Our blind cow Helen loves apples too ;-)

Thank you for your continued support.

Much love from the residents and Kym & Richard x

  • Hay Bale Donation

    $50

Twice a week our big cows and horses receive a round bale of hay. The goats, as well as Helen and Christina receive a round bale once a week. We have over 40 sheep and these guys prefer daily alternating small bales of lucerne and oaten hay. Our blind sheep Sweetie only likes to eat Lucerne hay for breakfast and dinner and lets you know when her tub is empty.

Thank you for your continued support.

Much love from the residents and Kym & Richard x

  • Nursery Donation

    $35

Each year we hand raise orphaned, abandoned lambs, calves and kids (baby goats). As each baby increasingly grows with strength and vigor at feed time the bottles are continually replaced. Both calf and lamb milk formula is costly with calves drinking over 6 litres a day.

Other nursery items include disposable nappies and puppy training pads for inside bedding areas, dog jumpers for warmth, wheat bags and soft toys for comfort.

If you would like to be a part of our bottle feeding and care of these babies please consider donating.

Thank you for your continued support.

Much love from the residents and Kym and Richard x

  • Veggie Donation

    $80

Each day our goats and pigs have a dinner of fresh vegetables. If you would like to be a part of our daily dinner feed time for these residents please consider donating to help.

Daily menu of favourite vegetables served are pumpkin, carrots, potatoes and what ever green vegetables may be on sale, except for cabbage, the piggies don’t like cabbage. ;-)

Thank you for your continued support.

Much love from the residents and Kym & Richard x
